Hey guys, this is my first post on the forum.

I got a steal on a 4wd B6000 from some family members a couple months ago and have been trying to decide on a direction to go with it. I got a good price on a backhoe also so i bought it. Hoe needs some work but worth $500 i paid for it. Im gonna try to post some pics and let yall give me some ideas. I'm not sure if the hoe is to big for my tractor. (as far as weight goes)

I know the hydraulic system on the b6000 will not push it but im wanting build a loader and put a auxiliary hydraulic sys on it.

Yall give me some feedback please!

It may just be me but that looks like a awful big BH for your tractor. I had a B 7100 that came with a frame mount Kubota (Woods) BH on it. When it broke I bought a Kubota 4672 BH and had it put on. It's just a 6' bh and was way more than my B wanted. Even after adding front weights and filling the front tires it still was to light in the front. I had to back it on my trailer and if it was any hill at all I would have to back up it.

It looked like the BH had supply line that hook up to the tractor remotes. If so that tells you it was for a bigger machine. It's rare to see remotes on a tractor under 40 hp any more.

Yes it has a hook up for what looks to be remote but it also has a froze up PTO pump with a tank and has a place to mount it. Its a kioti KB1200. Can't find any info on it though. Also im gonna build a FEL for it to. So i can make it hefty if ya know what im saying. Its just a project not really a need so im game for off the wall ideas lol

I've seen some on here that guys have fabricated and im gonna go a similar route with just bigger main post for the loader. Thinking 4x4 tube 1/4 thick and arms 2x4 tube 1/8 thick with a 48" bucket.

Not sure on the loader but the backhoe listed for it is a Kubota 4672. just to warn you though, I bought one and it's way to heavy for a 7100. Even with the front tires completely loaded with water and a set of weights hanging between the frame rails I still had to back it on my trailer. I even built a set of 6' ramps so it wouldn't be so steep and still no dice. The hoe is so heavy that the 3pt won't move it during hook up. The only way to pick it up is using the stabilizers. It may be listed for that tractor but in my opinion it's not correct.

If I remember it's 1000 lbs. It may even be a shade over that. I know that when I hooked it up the first time to my 7100 it wouldn't even try to pick it up. When I got my 3000 I bought the kit to change the hoe to a l series and it handles it fine. Now I wish I had the 90" boom instead of the 72".

Ok that helps a lot then. There is no way mine weighs close to that lol. Reason i say this is cause i'm only 160 lbs and can pick up both ends of it including the 3 point end. I've got the manual for the kubota 619 hoe and its identical to it as far as looks. I keep looking at the pics i posted and for some reason they make the hoe look bigger than it does in person. Soon as my 3 point kit gets here i'll post an update.

Bulldog,
Thanks bud you've been a tremendous help.
