Henro, you think all those executive orders signed right out of the box (this last time) had no effect on the current economy?

Go back a couple of presidents. When the big O was in office I had two office rentals I couldn't get anyone to take. As soon and the election was declared I had them both filled in two weeks. I asked the tenants what motivated them, both their responses was gov't dictating what small businesses could do that was too limiting, like health ins. for empoyees.

I hear you... I do DYI/construction as hobby or part time (AKA 30+ hours per week). Based on my past purchase, prices are 30-100% higher compared to pre-COVID/Biden. I remember paying $31 for a rockwool bundle when I built my addition, but today same thing is about $75. Not everything doubled though...other stuff is 30-40% more expansive. When you're on a budget or spending allowance based on how much income you have, it really hurts. My day job is not paying more aside from normal 3-4% raise. Basically what happened over the years was I got used to doing the amount of work I do, but now my income can't keep up, so I have to slow down and do less waiting for income to catch up...or just keep sinking in the hole.

Same problem doing work for others...I can't afford to do it cheap and they can't afford the going rate. Crapshow all the way around and I feel like I'm the one getting screwed, as others doing less are not impacted as much.

Not to make it political...I don't think a president is a king, but I'd prefer more conservatives policies and ability to veto liberal crap that never works (and no one ever follows up on).
