We are very fortunate. Ours winter with us! I was under the RV yesterday and got buzzed by one. If yours visited with us (the other Vancouver) they will be well fed!

Nice. It’s still too cold where I live. We won’t see the hummingbirds for another month.

When I saw the post "There Back"
I got all excited thinking he ment the
McRib sandwich !!!!!
Lol
Actually I wouldn't touch one.
Beautiful humming birds.
It got to 55* here today our warmest day since fall. Still 12" of snow in the woods here.

It's been kind of a disappointing spring here; lots of stuff that was in full bloom in prior years is doing nothing yet. No doubt Rufous is late for that reason - too much snow / cold on his route north. Go figure...

We’re a wee bit south of Vancouver but just saw our first Ruby Throated Hummingbird today.

I feel your pain. I grew up and spent most of my life in Alberta, much of it northern Alberta. Snow in June is one of the reasons I am here.

Found my first tick today. They're back too. Permethrin tomorrow.
Count Kansas in, saw my first tick Saturday, on a roll of toilet paper. He wasn’t fooling me.
