Well everyone, as it turned out, we ran the beach groomer with the trusty old John Deere...which was fine. I love the job so much I would do it on an old Massey Ferguson steel seat. (Though my back would be killing me.) I didn't find anything of note this season. Probably the oddest thing I saw on the beach at 6 am was a group of Amish women swimming in their garb...15 or so of them. No men in sight. Here are some pics (not of the Amish women), just shots I took at points throughout the summer.
