Newbe here...first post. When I financed my 3302 I had to get insurance. After searching around the Kubota insurance was far and above the rest. Not only does it cover theft it covers acts of god...stupidity like crashing it or in my case running it into the lake (I did say I was new!) I presented all kinds of hypotheticals before purchasing and they were all covered. Premium is only $41.00 a month. Also I can keep buying it after the loan is done. No worries about theft here.
$492 per year is WAY more that I would be willing to pay for tractor insurance.
Not sure how it might break out, but suspect my homeowner replacement value coverage costs way less than that, and .......it covers everything I own.
I think I own a lotta chit,...... including two tractors!
My homeowners policy does not cover mechanical breakdowns, or stupidity though.
I cover those!

Kubota is requiring you to buy loss insurance, because THEY own the tractor, until YOU have paid them in full!

I have owned at least one tractor for the past 50 years!
Never bought new, and never financed!
