Over 4 hrs on the b2650 now. This thing has leveled my garden plot, removed the previous homeowners old chicken coop and rabbit cages (I just bought this place) and removed a few trees (one on accident) from the root up. I can't believe I've waited this long to get one. No complaints about this thing so far at all.

Between the new roof on house, new b2650, and a piranha tooth bar this week, I think the only implement/weight the ole lady will let me have is a cinder block laying around outside...

A few blocks might help. Thing is, these small rigs have very little traction at the rear tires when a FEL is bolted on and all that extra weight is hanging out in front of the front axle. So most folks just put it in 4wd and don't worry about it. This puts the major load, weight & pulling on that tiny front axle. The rear tires & axle are much larger for a reason...

I think the 2650 is a real good match for your needs! Plenty of power and versatility. You should have 600-800 lbs on the 3ph for serious loader work - you'd need the same even if you'd bought the L3200. Enjoy!

Turned 20 hrs today. Yep, you are right. This b2650 is the perfect size for me. A lot more power than I'd anticipated. This is my first tractor and I had no prior experience to base my purchase on. So far I'm loving it.

In my opinion a ballast weight on the rear of a loader tractor is not optional, it is necessary. I'm surprised that the dealer didn't mention it. They aren't that expensive. I have a BX25 which has a backhoe, but it's mostly not on the tractor. I bought the Kubota ballast box and filled it with old brake rotors, concrete block and several other weights. It makes a big difference in SAFETY and efficiency.

My dealer wants to rake me over the coals for a ballast box so I'm going to make my own. Another tractor dealer nearby (blue) suggested a 55 gallon drum and a drawbar. Cut holes in the drum, install and weld the drawbar through it, then weld some tabs on top for the upper link. Then fill with concrete or steel. He'll even give me a steel drum when I buy the drawbar.

Jason, How's that piranha tooth bar working? I would like to get one myself.

Ezlife... the piranha bar is pretty nice for ripping up small trees and bushes. Sinks itself into larger trees as i push em over. It helps with grabbing a bucket of mulch. It is built solid. It does not, however, help to pick up those trees it digs up as well as I was hoping. Maybe I just need some practice, but the teeth are short and are unable to reach far under items to lift. All in all, it does stay on my bucket full time, as it makes the bucket much more useful than not.

Grandman, what did you end up paying for your l32 if you don't mind saying. It seems the b2650 is really close price wise, and I'm still trying to figure out why.

Prices seem to be substantially higher on the Northeast, no one has a handle on why. Other dealers were charging $2,000 more than I paid.
