I was searching for one with turf or industrial tires. Not sure which will be best. The dealer the owner bought it from is open to a swap/trade on these. So I will start with these and see how it does.
CONGRATULATIONS!!

I don't have that large of a tractor and am new tractoring so the following may therefore not apply:
I have two sets of wheels, you might look into the price of a new set as the tire on the rim can cost less than just the tires according to comments in other threads. If the price is reasonable you could then run the current set like you're planning and buy a second set if you find the need later on.

Awesome find. Congrats. Didn’t know turf tires are made for larger tractors. WI-hedgehog has a point about another set. Can’t believe it’s cheaper to get rim and tire than just the tire. Now I have a spare for the front. Pretty good gouge so put a tube in it. Turf tires. Did buy a second set, R4, for winter duties. Enjoy the toy.

I had turfs on a JD770 for over twenty years. I went in the woods, blew a 1/4 mile driveway( it used to snow a lot here ), and cut 3 or 4 acres. It did not do well in the mud, lol, ask me how I know😊

Much appreciation for the help on this forum. I have been researching and watching listing for the past 6 weeks and found a match today.

I ended up with a 4060 HTSC Limited Edition with 5 hours on it! I have been checking Facebook daily and it showed up this morning 50 miles from my house. I contacted the owner right away, saw it this afternoon, and snapped it up for $40K. Private party. No sales tax. Newer and more money than I had planned on, but I felt it was too good to pass up.

It may be a Limited. But this owner optioned almost all of the missing things back on. Only change I will be making is selling the light material bucket and getting a regular bucket and some forks.

Many operating questions will be coming at this forum soon. Anxious to learn enough to answer some myself in the coming months.
