Testing & Adjusting Loader Hydraulic Pressure

I posted a topic a while back about being disappointed in my L4701/LA765 FEL capacity. The result of that discussion was that I should test the hydraulic pressure with a #3500 pressure gauge attached to a hydraulic quick disconnect inserted in to the loader lift supply line. I'm not familiar with hydraulic lingo so I am wondering what style/size the quick connect is so I can order the correct one. Also, what is the pressure I am expecting and what is the maximum allowable pressure? And, finally, how do I adjust the pressure?

I just stumbled onto this thread, did you get this worked out?

I figured out the gauge/adapter part but I am a bit confused on what the pressure should be.
2349 PSI, do you have it on curl or lift?
Curl is easier, otherwise you have to pick the boom all the way up to get the right reading.

It's been a while since I tested the pressure. I think I put it on the white connection which is the downward direction of the lift cylinders. The pressure I got was #2250.

I just dropped the tractor off at my local dealer because of a clucking in the front end and I'm getting close to my warranty expiring. I am thinking I'll call them tomorrow morning and ask them to check that lift pressure for me.
