Temp fork extensions

First let me say these were for one job and a light one at that I needed to move a 2000 gallon plastic water tank . I didn’t want to try and pick it up with the 4’ Forks as I didn’t want to damage the tank. I tied 2 1/4” square tubing on the forks with 2000 lb test mule tape. We had to replace the water tank as it was slightly damaged during the Thomas fire last year that burned through our ranch the top sagged but it doesn’t leak. I’ll use this tank to supply a water trough for the deer. Where there’s a will there’s a way.

Great work. I've done something similar (although my load wasn't as heavy) with 2x4's where I needed just a little more reach.

Schedule 80 pvc slipped over the forks works in a pinch also

Steel rectangular tubing about 2X10 cut from an old mobile home hitch works well too!
