I have a used 95' model m-95s kubota tractor .the remote hydraulics won't operate a 2 way cylinder, it just locks up the cylinder. I know the cylinder works because it does alright on my case tractor. Can anyone tell me what the problem woulb be because the kubota dealer can't.

Have you tried reversing the lines? I know it shouldn't make a difference but I have seen it change things on my tractor before.

Sometimes on my 9000 it will hold my batwing up even in the float position. Normally I can lift it up just a little more and then go back to float and it will work. Don't have a clue why it does that and it doesn't do it every time either.

My bat wing is just a one way cylinder and it works ok but when i hook my bailer up which has a 2 way cylinder on the gate it just locks the cylinder up like it pushing both ways. The bailer works just fine on my old case and the hose fittings fit both tractors. I haven't got a clue unless its the female parker fittings causing it.

I'm going to ask this and I hope it doesn't piss you off because that's not my intent. Since you have a case and a Kubota it would be easy to get mixed up. The remotes are side by side on the kubota, you have hooked one line in each remote have you? I ask because most remotes are on top of each other not side by side.

Put the bat wing fittings on the baler and see what happens.

A 2 way cyl needs a way for the fluid to leave the cyl when the pressure is pushing the ram in the opposite direction . Do you have just 2 hose connections or 4 on the Kubota? If you have four you must hook up the hoses to the 2 that work together.

It has dual remotes and i've tried both with the same result. Like i said before it doesn.t make any sence. I'll try changing from the kubota disconnects to standard disconnects.

If you can, connect it without any disconnects and see what you get.

Take one male end off and plug the other into the tractor. The side that's plugged in the tractor needs to be the lift side of the tail gate on your baler. Hold the open line in a bucket and see if the remote will push fluid out. If it does switch to the other side of the remote and see if it works the same. If the down pressure side of the system is open any of the 4 outlets should raise the gate.
