The IRS has announced a change in the tax filing start date.

I promise to have all my stuff to my accountant by April 1st. He loves me - lol. No need to pay any sooner than necessary.

dont matter to me

I'm lucky to get w2 from previous employer (of 29 years--yes a kubota dealer) by the first of April anyway--different every year but most years it was by the first of april. Sometimes by March and that was a miracle.

Yes, the tax filling start was delayed, but wasn't stopped.
Timely post. :D Seriously though, take a look at the age of the threads before you post. The software has a tendency to recommend old threads.
