The IRS has announced a change in the tax filing start date.

IRS delays start of 2021 tax filing season to Feb. 12

The Internal Revenue Service will delay the start of tax filing season until Feb. 12, 2021, which pushes the date when the tax agency will begin accepting and processing 2020 tax year returns.

I'm lucky to get w2 from previous employer (of 29 years--yes a kubota dealer) by the first of April anyway--different every year but most years it was by the first of april. Sometimes by March and that was a miracle.

Agreed - I send my check within the last 3 days it is due. (earn intrest as long as possible)

Yes, the tax filling start was delayed, but wasn't stopped.

Timely post. Seriously though, take a look at the age of the threads before you post. The software has a tendency to recommend old threads.
