Tar River DRL-072

I just put a down payment on a new Tar River DRL-072. From the reviews it seems pretty good. I know it is not a no-till but I can live with that. Has anyone had any experience with on of these or similar seeder's?

Have no idea if it's good or not. I've driven past the company and it "looks" like more of an import company and not a true manufacturing company. Just saying...

Goodworkstractors doesn't think much of Tar River who simply imports Chinese made implements. He talks about the issues at the 10:00 minute mark.

Those who have used it says it does a good job. Several Utub videos out there showing it in use and it does look to do a good job, BUT, getting one if difficult and if it is hard to get one, imagine how hard getting repair parts for it will be. I want one myself, but have reservations based on availability.

had to google it, one place says 4-8K CDN for them, used, though look real nice.
I'd wonder about spare parts availabilty....
some thing coming out of China have been 'dialed in' real good...other stuff..not so much
course that can be said of almost anything from anywhere today.
