Does anyone make a swivel seat for the BX? Sure would help when using a 3 point snow blower.

The ROPS might be too narrow for a true swivel seat, would be nice to be able to turn at least 90 degrees though.

Don't know if a seat from a BX23S would fit but they don't actually "swivel". You raise it up, turn 180, lock back down. You're either facing forwards or backwards, no in between. And they have a wider ROPS.

Had a swivel seat on the NH. After a session or two snow blowing stopped using the swivel function. Just swivel my butt. Find the high back BX seat a bit of an issue. I just positioned the seat as far back as it slides and sit forward to allow my shoulders to rotate when I swivel on the seat. I think I'm going to miss the NH's reverse cruise control. Didn't realize the BX's cruise only works going forward:(.

OT: chains for the rear wheels are in route. Snowblower ready to go. Recently running 5-10F above normal. But the Dark Eyed Juncos have all headed South. The Black Capped Chickadees are flocking. Usually get our first permanent snowfall of the season around 3-4 weeks after the Juncos disappear. NWS notes potential for first measurable snowfall forecasted maybe this weekend to early next week. But then back up to abnormally warm. Like low 50sF. Surface water temp of L. Superior is above "normal". Will suck the cold out of any "polar vortex" for awhile. Which is fine with me.

from kubota 'parts page', each section is $400+ CDN BUT it does show how the 'swivel' functions. Hint" semicircular slot and a pin. depending on your seat setup and skill set, you should be able to it for less than their $800 price ! Might consider an after market boat swivel seat, at least for the 'mechanical' parts.

Are the operator safety switch located in the seat or seat base on the BX series? Could complicate changing seats unless aftermarket swivel seats have a simple "plug and play" install.

Old NH didn't have any circuit that cut the motor if I forgot to disengage the PTO clutch and stood up. Good thing. Bit of a long stretch to rotate the chute on the 3PT mounted snow blower. Will find out with the BX and new LP blower if I can easily reach the chute arm with butt on the seat. No big issue disengaging the PTO. Just another new habit to develop.

Thanks for your post. Will have to look to see where the wires go but guessing in the seat. The other suggestion on using a swivel from a boat has possibilities. Will look into that on mounting.
