I have a B7100HST FWD with turf tires: Rear-29 x 12.00 - 15, Rear-20.5 x 8.0 - 10. I would like to change them with a industrial tire, but I am having trouble finding R3 or R4 tires to fit the stock rims. I do not want to change the rims if I don't have to. Is there a tire combo that will work?

The rear tires should be easier to find. Fronts, more difficult (if you want to stick with the stock rims).
I switched to ags, but had to improvise a little. I used Tru-Powers on the rear, and an ATV tire on the front.

They perform very well, and they don't tear my yard up.

Someone needs to bump up there coffee intake! :D

I have a B7100HST FWD with turf tires: Rear-29 x 12.00 - 15, Rear-20.5 x 8.0 - 10.

How about:
I have a B7100HST 4WD with turf tires: Rear-29 x 12.00 - 15, Front-20.5 x 8.0 - 10

Now on to the problem you have, it's not only a matter of finding tires that fit the rims it's finding tires with the right RC (rolling circumference), if you get that wrong you will do damage to the front drive system.

The RC on your turf tires is Front, 58 and Rear, 86

The closest R4 tire for the rear would be 27x8.50-15 but it only has an RC of 79, way too small.
And the closest R3 tire that will fit the rim will be 12.5L-15, but it's RC is 101, way too large.

You will not find an R4 or R3 that will fit a 10" rim. ;)

85Hokie, my local Kubota dealership has a bone pile of old weights. I pilfered through, finding the correct Kubota weights. I think I gave like $10 a piece for them. Of course, they needed paint.

Man, you guys got some great dealers… mine had no weights on hand, said maybe they had some used ones at the home dealership, (40 miles away) about $40-$50 each, but they were too busy to check, maybe I should drive there.

No dice, Hokie. I checked today- they have quite a few weights, and they have gotten them organized. None for a small Kubota. I will check back periodically.

I'll take the camera next time. Most of the weights were huge. None were cast to fit on a B7100. There were some small ones that could be adapted- I didn't look to see what they weighed.
They did have a bunch of wheel weights.

...
The RC Ratio is 67.44% Front vs. Rear.

As long as he keeps close to the same ratio, he could go larger or smaller RC in total couldn't he? I'm not sure how much forgiveness there is in the differences. I know there has to be some for wear issues, but don't know how much.

Yes the ratio is the most important thing to maintain, generally 4% deviation max is a good rule.
The real issue he is having is trying to stay in the same rim size.

Hodge, the tires on your tractor look good. What are the sizes? The tire shops in my town keep telling me that nothing other than what I currently have will fit my rims. Sorry about the FWD/4WD mistake, North Idaho Wolfman. Auto correct sucks.

The rears are Carlisle Tru Power 29 x 12.5 x15's, and the fronts are 20 x 8 x 10 Kenda K378's. They are readily available, and the fronts will fit on your rims fine. They are slightly shorter, but you can easily change the rolling diameter by playing with air pressure. I run 20 pounds in mine, and got no driveline binding. I can be moving and switch into 4WD with no resistance- so, the front to back ratio is intact.

(You may want to search further- I just found tires available, not necessarily the best prices)

Thank you. I hadn't thought of using ATV tires on the front. I'll have to get a set of weights to. Maybe the local Kubota dealer will have something that will work.

For a heads up.....

I just picked up some new turf tires for my b7100. This is my first tractor so I never had to get tractor tires replaced.

Took them down to a kubota dealer to get them switched out and the rears filled with rim guard. I called them before stopping by but I never mentioned needing the tires switched out.... I guess I assumed they change tires being a large dealer that has been around a very long time.... Yeah no, they don't change tires but they do fill them . Maybe it's a liability thing who knows.... But I found it amazing they don't change tires when even my buddie's small used car garage changes tires...

So I back tracked to a tire place that is in the middle of farm country that I drove right by on my way to the dealer. Good people, been in business for generations and I know they do big tractor tires on the regular. I dropped them off, and he told me it would be Monday afternoon if I was lucky. I was like.... Say what ?? I figured it may take an Hour! I'm thinking to myself.... These are just small tractor tires compared to other out there, what in the world makes this a two day job?? So being the guy I am :D.... I asked the owner nicely why it takes so long to change 4 tires over? He said most of the time the rims get rusted and he has to sand them down. Made sense to me , at least I know he'll do a good job.

To top it off he told me its $40 a tire to dispose of them . I guess it costs 10 times as much to dispose of than car tires including ATV tires that weigh less than a car tire.... He said it's nuts but that's how it is. He made a good point when he asked me how many farms I've seen with a pile of tractor tires, that's because the big ones cost close to $200 to get rid of! Luckily my father in law has a good place to turn them into a flower planter :D

I'm not sure how they would hold up to loader work, although I have no reason to believe that they are weak. They offer excellent traction- I've used them in mud, snow, dry dirt, and wet grass. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

OldeEnglish, where in Mass are you? I am just south of Worcester in Sutton. I had called Ahearn's to try and track down tires, but never received a call back. Let me know if you are using someone different, I don't mind the drive!

I'm out in the northern berkshires. I picked up my turf tires on eBay, 10ply both front in rear. Carlisle Multi Trac for the rear and a Kenda trailer tire for the front that has tread like a turf tire.

The rears came from Pete's tire barn in Orange, MA, they were at my door the next day
