Hello. I have a few posts on here recently about mounting a Boss 7' 6" V plow to my L4630. I am at the final stage of the install and need to somehow get switched power inside the cab at the circuit breaker. 6 or 7 years ago I installed a 3rd function valve from W.R. Lang. For that install I needed to do the same same thing. I remember taking the circuit breaker box out and connecting to a wire in behind. I checked my install instructions from Lang and there is nothing there to explain how I did that part of the project. I even called Lang to see if maybe I had misplaced a page of the instructions or something but that answer was no. When I was putting in the 3rd function kit on, I remember following some instructions with pictures, etc.... Can you help? I am thinking maybe someone here guided me to a website or sent me something that I followed. I did check history of my posts here and found nothing there either. Feels like an episode of the Twilight Zone. : )

I decided after lunch to go remove the fuse box and see what I did with the 3rd function power supply. I had cut into the power supply to the circuit for the cigarette lighter. It is a 20 amp fused circuit. The 3rd function set-up had an in line 10 amp fuse. The Boss plow set-up came with an in line 10 amp as well.
I removed some of the insulation on that supply wire and soldered the line going to the plow. So both lines are fused at 10 amp. I tested it out in that configuration and everything seemed to work fine. Cleaned up and put the tools away. : )
