Swapping D905 for failed D950 possible at all?

Anyone have any experience looking into or attempting this swap? I've read that they are not compatible, but anyone know exactly why not?

The why not is because all of the dimension and parts are not compatible, sorry I don't have the 2 sitting here now to be able to give you the exact details.

It's possible with some rework you might get it to fit and function, but I think it would take some serious work and expense.
