I searched the forum but I’ve tried most of the fixes listed in old threads.
My machine is Svl 95 w about 890 hours 2021.
Fuel was low I stopped and filled it with about 15 gallons. After this I ran for about 15 min and turned it off. Then turned it back on and got code 9302.
Machine died off (no limp mode)

Background: I replaced fuel filter and water separator about 2 weeks ago and have only put 10 or so hours on it since then.

next steps:
I opened water separator and cleaned it out, disconnected inlet and outlet hoses and 90s but they were all clean.

checked fuel filter, emptied and flushed with clean fuel and reinstalled. It was still pretty clean without much of any debris.

then turned the key on to let it prime.. but machine will turn over but not fire up.

my understanding is most people with this code it still runs but it limp mode and would still crank.
But mine showed the code and turned off pretty suddenly. And won’t crank.

since then I disconnected fuel separator and all of the lines coming in and out of the fuel filter and pump and blew them all out. Everything seems to be clear with good flow.

I am in the process of draining the tank completely but even if I clean the tank as good as I can I don’t see that helps if machine is not even turning over. There is likely a clog somewhere in else .. maybe injector? But I don’t know how to go about checking that.

any advice would be helpful.

I am newish to owning equipment but have done my own maintenance and service so I know the machine fairly well.

Also if anyone could help me figure out the whole fuel system flow from the tank to the engine.. I see the Kubota parts diagrams but if there is something more comprehensive that would help me understand what else to check.

thanks in advance!

Also I have checked all of the connections shown on below fuel piping diagram. With the exception of the line going from filter to the injector. I haven’t disconnected the injector 90 to check that one.

Air/fuel flowing normally in all of the other connections.

trash came out of the other side of the fuel pump and I have never opened or changed fuel pump filter.
that will be my next check.

Along with blowing and draining the rest of the fuel and trying new fuel.

The error code E:9302 will not keep the starter from cranking the engine over. You have another issue inhibiting the starter.
The simplest next step is to have a dealer connect Diagmaster to read the DTCs stored in the ECU and/or ACU which are not displayed in the hour meter.

Sorry the engine is turning over but not firing up.

Remove the outlet hose from the spin-on fuel filter, install a section of fuel hose onto the outlet fitting that will reach out the rear of the engine compartment, hang the hose into a bucket, and turn the key switch to the run position. See how much if any fuel is running out of the hose.

I read old posts so I did this already..
Well I let the outlet go into a paper cup. But the flow seems normal. About the same pace as it fills up the separator.

I have taken air separator off and blew compressed air through there and through the pump and through filter valves

They typically fill a 12 oz Pepsi bottle in 15 approximately seconds.
That hose is a fuel return to tank hose and that plastic bulb is a check valve.

The DEF never makes contact with the fuel.

Pretty positive it is the fuel pump. It was completely trashed. It was pumping when I first started looking at everything but likely on its last leg and now not pumping. Will update if this is the fix.

Did you clean the inlet screen in the electric fuel supply pump?

I did. The pump filter was completely trashed and probably never been replaced.
The pump is humming but not pumping anything. I put the inlet straight in some fuel.
dealer can’t get a new one until Friday as no one has it in stock locally. (Atlanta)
Trying to get one next day aired.. any recommendations on an online supplier?

I replaced the pump, primed it and had good flow after the screw off fuel filter. hooked everything back up…
But still won’t crank. I’m guessing there is some air in the injectors. Trying to bleed them as I crank but the battery going low.
Will charge the battery and give it a go again tomorrow.
There is no bleeding in this system. Just let the primer pump run for 30 seconds and crank the engine over with the starter. It will expel the air from the fuel rail by itself and should start. Do not loosen the fuel lines to the injector at all!

How does the system expel the air?

I did prime the system.. also tested new pump. And primed again.
thinking the battery is low on juice after the attempts to start before replacing the pump. Also not really sure how old the battery is. Bought the machine with 550 hours and has 800 on it now. Might be the same battery from factory

Battery has juice and reading 12.5 and have an extra charger on it. Still nothing.
so I’m not getting any smoke when cranking over.
Again have good flow from fuel into injection pump.
how would I test if IP is bad? Could be a fuse?

Looking through old threads and maybe this is my issue:

I have great fuel flow to the high pressure fuel pump. Brand new battery. Not blowing any smoke when cranking. Spitting a little fuel when I crank and crack the injectors.

I guess my only option is to tow to dealer.
I have a big job starting Friday am so I’m going to have to rent a machine.

any Hail Mary help would be much appreciated

Taking it to your dealer is probably your best option.
