Hi All,
Have just recently purchased a SVL-75-2 and the dealership have mounted the monitor screen pretty much at right angles to where I sit. I find this quite a useless location. I'm looking for ideas where to re-position this monitor?
Cheers

Put it where you won't hit it with your head or body while climbing in and out of the cab.

My last machine rental JD 333C had a tiny 4" LCD at eye level top left of the cab near the door under the operator info panel. Screen was way too tiny, need at least 7" or 9". I'd probably try adding a screen near the operator control screen or up by the rear view mirror.

The 333C was a nice operating machine but brutal visibility sides and back and hard on fuel.

As much as I like the sliding door of my SSV the arc it swings through in the cab limits how far forward and how high you can place the mount on the side panel. It also prevents using the cab pillars or the area above the door. Look for a long, articulated mounting arm and bracket to position your view screen. The inside metal protective screen makes it pretty easy to mount the base.
The out of the box solution would be mounting it on the inside of the door. There would be some challenges to overcome.

Good luck. Either the armrests hit it or the door hits it. Usually the sun completely washes out the screen anyway. The other problem is the camera is mounted too high to offer any useful feedback of how close an object is. It is the most useless $1000 option I have ever purchased.
