Update. The B26 was supposed to arrive at the Nova Scotia dealership on Jan 31st. It hasn‘t. No delivery date is known. The dealer however still commits to the price and terms, which once adjusted for specs, is about 13% below MSRP. I just checked and Kubota has removed any price point for the B26 on its Canadian website, the base price was previously listed at $52,000. The specs for mine are:

B26 with the TL2142 QA bucket and 18“ backhoe. The extras are:
LL2244 60-inch 4-in-one bucket (that‘s in addition to the TL2142, not a swap)
B3941 3ph with hitch receiver and ball assembly
BT1975 hydraulic thumb
TL2141 3rd function valve (TL500)
LL2238 pallet fork frame and K9048 fork set
Block heater, 400W
Tire chains front and rear
Ag tires on front
Cost: CAD$55,150 + 15% HST

This is a cash deal, financing would be 7% extra.

Deal includes free delivery, and during warranty coverage, free delivery and pickup. For service after warranty, they charge $1.25/km to pick it up, if I don‘t tow it in myself. On the road charge would be $125/hr per hour of the mechanic.

Yet to be priced in are other options I chose:
-Rear remote hydraulic valves: (a) 1st position double acting valve B8027 and B8028, and (b) second position valve kit B8030 and B8029,
- Top‘n‘Tilt B8362 with check valves if possible. Top‘N‘Tilt is not a standard offering in Canada and has to come up from south of the border,
- Front and rear work lights, horn kit, tool box kit
-Box scraper BB1560.

Drum rolls please … ELEVEN months after ordering a B26 TLB, it has arrived at the dealership with my name on it. It came from Japan to Toronto in July on a crate, without tires (they all do) and from July to now it took to get the tires and ship it to Nova Scotia for the install my list of bells and whistles. My last minute addition was LED front and rear FOP-mounted work lights. The dealer says he‘ll deliver the tractor to my property within the next three days. Fingers crossed!

The dealer stayed true to the promise to have the price frozen to when I ordered it in Nov 2021.

I asked the dealer how long it would take for delivery, if I ordered one today. He said until next May, so. 7 month lead time. He also said that a 8% price increase is coming in January 2023.

Dang. That is one heck of a wait.

Don't forget to post some pictures when it finally does show up.

I was just wondering who would resurrect such an old thread. :) Now I know. That's a long wait.

So am i wrong in thinking a lot of b26s are probably ordered barebones because they often live out the first part of their lives in rental fleets? I dont think most rental places would want their customers trying to switch out the backhoe for 3pt, or coming back with bent backhoe thumb cylinder every second rental. 😂

Me, i would LOVE a b26. So wheres the pics?!
