Looking for a recommendation for a sunshade to fit a L4701 ROPS.

By sunshade do you mean canopy, if so there are many on the market that just bolt on. Just goggle L4701 canopies. They come in steel, fiberglass, with light kits, etc. I'd suggest selecting one that has an insulating headliner to help with sound attenuation and solar heat. Just remember that it's up there, they don't take the abuse that a ROPS can, it can't duck like you.

I made my own, I wanted it capable of high speed towing and all the OEM ones I looked at said to remove before towing.

I put a Kubota canopy on my first M9000. It was nice and came with insulation already on it. I built the one on my L 3000 and made it how I wanted. Plus saved about $300 compared to oem.

I fitted a low cost version to an L3200, it's a Tuff Top 48" x 52" ROPS mount, purchased last year for $295 including shipping and tax from All States Ag Parts. It's simple, light and has withstood woodland use.

How does the RhinoHide do in direct sun on a hot day? I noticed that it only comes in black, and I wondered if it would radiate too much heat. I like the cost and its toughness.

I thought that too but it’s at least 4” over my head I don’t feel a thing it keeps me very cool. I couldn’t use the machine without it. Esp brush hogging. I really like how versatile and tough it is.
