Got mine from dealer when I bought tractor, great if you sunburn easily, don't suppose it matters which you have as long as your on your tractor in the shade, works ok when raining. Got to be careful around objects when you are looking down while working ,low hanging limbs, corner of the #*^~ garage, just remember it is up there. Good luck on yout project.

I had a machine shop fabricate a canopy frame. I topped it with a 3/4" piece of 4'x6' treated plywood and painted it black. I wanted a large canopy and something I could easily mount things to if needed. Less than $400 invested.

I made mine. Had a metal shop bend the sides down 2" and turn up some drip rails. Built the frame out of 1"x2" tubing. I went with metal just because of low limbs.

Welcome to the Forum, I had the umbrella type on an older tractor. Stiff breezes feel great, until they turned the umbrella inside out. I now have canopies or cabs on all our equipment.

I was probably going with this...
It is a SNOWCO, but I will also look into FEMCO

Mostly due to the fact it "fits the era" of my old L1500
I understand they are pretty stout,
but any umbrella in gale force winds.
