All,

Last week I posted pics of the Titan grapple bucket (48" w/3000 psi cylinder) I just purchased. This week I want to get the hydraulics ordered. I have virtually no experience with this type of decision.

The Summit kit linked below lists most of the current models in the same HP class as my 2006 L3130. I called them to confirm the kit would work for my tractor and the customer support person said "its not on my list... if it doesn't fit, you'll need to pay for return shipping and restocking". Gee, thanks.

The owner's manual for my tractor says the pump puts out 8.3 gpm and 2560 max PSI. These are below the numbers shown in the kit info. Other than maybe fitting sizes, anyone see any reason I can't use this one? Anyone have what they think is a better option?

I'm resisting the urge to buy the Amazon kit that shows the exact same pic and specs for almost exactly 50% the cost of this kit.

Third Function Valve Kit Kubota L2501, L3200, L3301, and L3901

What’s the Amazon kit?

The summit kit will more than likely work, fittings are really the only thing that could change. I put the summit kits on two separate tractors not listed in their specs. LX2610 and MX6000 both were fine.

The issue of it fitting or not is going to come down to the small lines, they might not match what you need on the L3130 valve, but would be as simple as adding a couple adapters to make it work.

The valves and everything else will work fine for what you want and need.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'll update this thread after the fact so anyone searching in the future will hopefully find the information.

Finished installing the Summit hydraulics and wiring this morning. Everything works and no leaks...yet.
It's a bit too sloppy here with snow melt on top of frozen soil for me to get out and put it into action.

The Summit kit had everything necessary, and the quality looks good. I reused my OEM line from pump power beyond up to new grapple controller. It was just the right length. Summit line was 18" or so too long but could have been used okay.

The Titan grapple came with some really large quick couplers. Since they only sent the grapple side components, I ended up replacing those to match the tractor side mates sent by Summit.

I used my rivnut gun and set the bracket to the hydraulic hardline shield.

I am thinking about adding a cover/shield to the back side of the bucket to keep limbs from getting through to my lines. May just add a shield in front of the quick connect area. TBD on that direction.

I attached the control unit to my rear-view mirror bracket. I may need to strengthen it as I am getting a bit of jiggle when the solenoid activates. With the stress on the lines, that jiggle may loosen a fitting.
Cleaned up my wiring a bit after this picture.

So, I answered my own original question. Even though Summit said the L3130 was "not on their compatible list", the kit they sell for this size range tractor works fine.
