I can't remember the brand, but Home Depot sells one that is rock solid and ran about $12 bucks IIRC. Makes driving one-handed and operating the FEL real easy.

I like the Kubota one also but couldn’t bring myself to spend the 60 bucks Canadian so Amazon it was. Same knob to the tee just without the Kubota symbol and 20 bucks to my door. Cant think of a down side for me. Use it all the time if not ever time I’m in the tractor. I’ve always had one on my tractors so I guess it’s just natural for me to use it.

I'm a huge fan of the steering wheel knob on my tractor, however the one pictured by the OP didn't work on my B2601. Instead, I opted for a slightly different style like this:

I found that they type shown by the OP would not fit the wheel spoke on my B2601 (the knob goes on the spoke, not the outer ring). The style I installed, specifically designed, works awesome.

98 1/2% of the time I'm steering my tractor, my left hand is on the knob. It doesn't return to the same spot each use (see post above) but it is still very useful and handy. However, it is an area to be respected, as the poster above mentioned with his carpenter pants loop.

Edit: I also have 'tilt steering', used regularly; great for getting on/off the tractor.

I think I bought mine at Tractor Supply my first visit there.
It was in the discount bin; someone had opened the package, and it was missing a bolt or nut.
I think I paid $5 or $6.

That is exactly the one I ordered. And as you say, those with power steering will find that the knob will not 'clock' where installed...but instead end up at various positions. That should pose no problem for most since the purpose is usually to just better facilitate steering with one hand.
