Was having issues yesterday with the B3200being sluggish and wrote it off to not having run it for a while. Turns out I had set the parking brake and forgot about it earlier in the afternoon. Saw it this morning as I went to pull out of the barn. I get the ID10t award. No issues with responsiveness today🤦‍♂️

You are probably the only one on this forum that has ever done that!

I usually use the FEL as my brake when stopped. Not like we have any hills around here.

on second thought . . . that should be an easy project if
you have a brake switch and
you have some kind of electrical switch(es) operated by the treadle pedal (forward and reverse)

My treadle must have those switches. If I stand up from the operator's seat and press the treadle in either position it cuts the motor. I don't know if I have a brake switch - hmmm will have to find the wiring diagram.

It's happened to a lot of us!
On the mechanical side of it, it's veery unlikely that any damage happened.
If your concerned at all, do fluid and filter change.

I guess the dash light is only on the newer models.

On my bx when (not if but when) I do this the HST gets real loud fighting the brake. That's my warning klaxon!

I played with it a bit. No lights on mine but when I set the parking brake using the leaver, the handle moves back almost to the off position while engaged. Time to do a parking brake adjustment. On the plus side, I did get all the rust and dirt off those brake drums!

Mine was really loud but I had on my noise cancelling ear buds. Should have pulled one and listened closer.

Dash light has never helped me. Buzzer or interlock would help. Buzzer would have to have a time out feature since the brake has to be on to operate the PTO while off the seat. Not fool proof. Probably the best way would be to install a limit switch on the hst pedal to control a buzzer that gets its power from the brake light. Another winter project.
