I have the Woodland Mills badged version and it works great with an HST tractor.

I have had one for about 6 months and ground 25+ smaller (10 to 20 inch) stumps. Only issue is sore neck from looking backwards. Overall happy with purchase.
I have since hooked up a wyze cam and will run with local wifi around the house and on hot spot when out of range. Have not used the camera yet but getting ready to do some 36-48 inch stumps.

I too have the Woodland Mills Stump Grinder, which looks identical to the MechMaxx. I love mine but it can tax your neck muscles from looking backwards and down as you move front and back making cuts. Mine is used on a MX5100, with no issues. I've ground about 30 stumps and have not even chipped a tooth.

I have the Woodland Mills stump grinder and I use a wireless backup camera attached to a magnet and mounted it on the grinder where it provides a view of the grinding wheel and the stump. Just watch the monitor in the cab and no sore neck.

Bobnic, I'm surprised the magnet doesn't fall off while grinding. I'm considering a camera but was thinking I would mount it on the rear of the tractor. Gives me something to think about.

I use a magnetic wireless solar camera with mine. It is a backup camera with 7 inch display. The magnet is awful strong but I have been driving a steel tube in the ground about 4 ft behind the stump to stick it to for perfect vision without vibrations shown on the monitor. Good for about 80 feet they claim.

I used my new WM 28" grinder this weekend to grind ten spruce stumps 12-16" diameter. Took about 1.5 hours.

I'm liking it better than digging out the roots but I do think it's hard on the tractor. Less ground tear up using the grinder.

Ordered a MechMaxx yesterday. We have dozens of stumps now and will be dropping probably another dozen dead trees this year, so I hope it works well on our L2501.
Will advise when we get it in a few weeks.
Already have friends and a neighbor that are interested in seeing how well it works.

With friends and neighbors it can quickly pay for itself....
