Looking at stump buckets. If anyone has one of these, or has a comment, fire away. Big difference in cost and weight, but the leading edge teeth and weight may be worth the difference, lots of rocks where I live. Free shipping as well.

I recently ordered pallet forks from them and was pleased. When I ordered there was a spot to insert a discount code during the online ordering process that I stupidly ignored. Later I googled Titan discount code and there it was. Find the discount code before you order. Might save you 10%. Good luck.

I have the heavier one, when I first purchased it I used it on my MX5800, it worked ok. I later purchased a track loader, that is what these heavy units are made for, it is a serious tool on a track loader.

I would never mount the heavy version on my L series, it’s just too heavy and I would worry about damaging my loader in using it.

I would recommend the lighter version on your B series.

Yes and the stubbier the better. Shorter = less fulcrum forces on your loader.

Personally I would not own one of these for a tractor, but I know there are many that do.

I thought this was interesting to watch as he destroyed stump buckets
I bought their mini stump bucket, haven't had a chance to use it yet but I like the small size and the price was right, saved some bucks by going to pick it up.... at this point probably won't get to it until spring. Want to use it mostly for small saplings to dig out, lots of small oaks taking over a section of my property...

Thanks to everyone who replied. There are some things I had not considered but now have a better idea of what would likely work best for me. I liked the idea of actual
(replaceable) teeth on the front, but for what I will be using it for the smaller one should work fine.

JimmyJazz: Thanks for the tip!

I've owned a few different designed stump buckets. They are really designed for skid steers. Ag tractor loaders aren't sturdy enough. Another issue (when using a tractor) is the difficulty in seeing what you are doing. Someone directing really helps.
I kept mine when I sold my skid steer and found that it worked well for transplanting or removing bushes.
The round bottom design seems to penetrate the ground easier and the grapple helps in many ways.
As far as stump removal goes I think your machine will be way overworked. 100_1660.JPG
