Stop solenoid? Kx41-3v mini ex

Hello To All,
New to the forum and thanks in advance to any input.
I have a 2005 Kx41-3v mini ex. It has run perfectly for 2000 + hours. I have had this issue before, but its one of those weird electrical things that fixed itself and has come back to haunt me.
The machine runs great, and then, when in use it shuts off like you turned the ignition off. I haven't been able to get it to run again this go around.
Is there anyway to test the stop solenoid before removing? I have a new stop solenoid and ignition switch on hand in anticipation, but would like to trouble shoot further if possible.

Does it crank and not start? - Check - Fuel level, Engine oil level switch, Fuse, Solenoid, Fuel pump.

There are several styles of stop/fuel solenoids, some are active some are passive.
When it was running right and you would shut it off, did you hear a solenoid click after 5 seconds or so?
