I’m looking how to fit the tensioning spring on the engine stop mechanism of a Kubota b1610
The photo shows the spring and the general location where I think it might be attached.
It seems logical that one end fits the hole in the arm circled in red, but I can’t find anywhere to attach the other end to.

I not familiar with you model tractor, but that's a hell of a spring, it reminds me of a brake or clutch spring. Check your WSM, it may show where it goes.

I thought I’d check the Messicks site for an illustration….and it says “B1610, No Model”

I have the WSM for that model yet I don't have a single picture or diagram of how the linkage or that spring interacts.
The only pic / diagram that I find do not show anything attached to that linkage.
I don't see that spring anywhere.

What happens when you pull the throttle all the way back?
