My first two Kubotae (B7500 and L3200) had what I'd call power steering and the knob stayed clocked as installed. The L4240 has hydro steering and the knob can be found in any location when moving straight forward. At first that bothered me because I wasn't accustomed to it. Now I don't really notice it unless I think about it.
None of these whacked me when a front wheel struck something. The knob on my Ford 1210 (manual steering) however has delivered a few really good blows.
