Hi all,
I bought an old Kubota L2600 with a V1500 engine. It actually looks like an L285. I am having troubles starting it and I am sure its the Glow Plugs or the power supply to the glow plugs. The problem is because I am unfamiliar with the tractor I dont know if I am starting it correctly.
The tractor will start eventually, it blows white smoke chugs and farts a bit then eventually catches. Runs absolutely fine once going.
So my question is when you turn the ignition key to "On" position should this warm the glow plugs? I cant seem to see any other indicators on the dash not that I know what to look for to be honest.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
Cheers
PS. If it helps I could take a picture of the dash, but from what I can see it looks almost identical to the L285 model.
