Last winter I finally ran out of 4" PVC that I used to fit over my 5' rear blade to push snow on gravel. This year, I tried a piece of stall mat as many here have recommended. I gotta say it works great. I've since removed the stall mat as there's 3" of ice over the gravel now, thanks to a couple rounds of freezing rain. If anyone is looking for an alternative to keep gravel in place, stall mat is the way to go!

Interesting idea.

I also utilize my RB1560 for snow on my gravel driveway in conjunction with the front mounted blower. I have found that flipping the RB around 180 degrees running it like ) in > direction has worked fine in "float" provided I get the angle East/West right for my driveway slope.

Stall mats can take a beating......I assume you drilled mounting holes in your RB and mounted with bolt/nut/washer?
