Had posted some pics of my projects in another section and realized I was in the wrong place. Thought I would share as some of your projects on here have been helpful to me. This is a 7' fisher snow plow I have welded a ssqa plate on, and a scabbard I made to hold my saw.

I got the ssqa plate from KFI Industries for 99 bucks shipped. I re-enforced it with 1/4" 2x4 mild tubing. That stuff was 56 bucks for 2 27" sections.

The scabbard I made from 3/4 angle and some expanded metal I had kicking around. I coated the inside of the scabbard where the chain makes contact with some fiberglass resin. About a 1/8" or so. Seems to work well. I plan on clamping it to the loader tower with 2 stainless clamps.

Still working on where to mount this scabbard.... Was going to mount it to the rops, but it just wont work there very well. I run a 2' bar so by the time I get the saw out if the scabbard I would have to be standing on a bucket... I will keep at it.

Seems like I am the only one replying here. Thats ok, I hope some one will find this useful. Well, this is the best way I could figure to mount this scabbard. I did mount to the rops, just lower and when I put my top and tilt kit back on that Brian over at Fit Rite Hydraulics made for me, (plug for ya Brian!!) it seems like it should all work well with no interference. Guy's if you seem me doing something dumb here or have a better way I am all about learning new things. Chime in. Thanks a lot- Ron in Maine~~

ps- will add pics of ssqa snow plow once I get some hyd hoses made up and get it on the tractor as well-

It looks like it might be a little hard to get at. Is it? How did you do with this storm? we got less than 1 inch.

Its really not bad at all. But the real test will be in the woods. The storm did not amount to much, prob not even a half inch. Boy I am ready for spring. I have seedlings that are popping up inside, so it better come quick!!

Sorry aeblac, did not see your message for some reason. The rears are AMPC's I got from my dealer. They were fairly expensive. I think they were around 500 bucks. The fronts I got from my tire guy, I dont remember what the name is. (I am a tire dealer) Those at cost were not bad. I told my guy to send me the nastiest most aggressive ice chains he had. They are GREAT. They turn ice into powder. I also wanted to post some pics of the plow on the machine. Its been sitting in front of my tire changer and balancer too long, and it is now time to put everyone's summer tires on here in Maine, so it had to get out of the shop. I still have not put the angle cylinders on. I will get some hoses made up this week.

Hi Skip44- Well I bought the machine at Union Farm Equipment, but I used to work on a 3300 acre organic farm as a mechanic. So I have worked on a tractor or two so I do all service myself- Were do you go? Seems like Wescotts is down your way. I bought a super clean low hour B6200 that has a Wescotts sticker on it.

Yes Dorrs, not real happy with them. I have a thread "La 480 fel" talking about my problem with the front end loader. If you have not seen it will you take a look and tell me what you think.
