I'd go for only 6 more weeks, earlier would be nice but unlikely in our state!

Phil saw his shadow here. Just got an Alberta Clipper run through and dump another dusting down. Temps below freezing all next week. This weekend wind chills will be sub zero.

Spring sucks where I live. Lots of cold winds and late season snow. If no snow, the winds are certain. Bring on summer.

What do you’all suppose they were drinking/smoking when they dreamt up groundhogs day? I can tell you a GH would not come out of hole around here anytime soon (I suspect PA not wonder from Ohio climate). Somebody had to actually go out and dig one of these sum’bitches up for that holiday to start. Think they were eating shrooms or what?

N.Y,
1 degree with 30 mph winds and snowing at my house this morning. I think Phil was right 🤔.

Looking at the forecast I believe we may put the taps in the trees this weekend 🍁

Same with us. Extremely cold with up to 4 ft drifts. Whiteout conditions from lake snow. Woodstove cranking to keep it at 70 degrees inside but a room full of big old Anderson 30 year old double pane windows have ice on the inside in the centers where vacuum has bowed the glass in over the years. Only one more day of it. That's frozen solid ice on the inside 🥶. Not even gonna try to start the tractor for cleanup at these temps.

N.Y,
Just found a box UPS FedEx threw in the snowbank. A new suspension seat for my excavator and didn't know it was coming today. Luckily the dog smelled something so I went to look over the 3 ft drift across the driveway and there it was. An hour longer and it would have disappeared under the drifting snow and been hit by my plow tomorrow. Wish he had beeped his horn to let me know he had come. Carrying a 80 pound oversized box over a 3 ft drift wasn't fun. The other drift getting to my barn is over 5 ft of wind packed snow now.
