As of yesterday the rubber mat on the B is toast. I got tangled up in that rag soft mat and just about face planted myself in the garage. SO I have come up with a couple ideas, of course the spray on bed liner. The other is a spray can of the contact cement. spray the back and the deck and push the plugs through the holes and let the glue dry. Or maybe using carpet runners and cut the plugs off and poke holes inthe mat and drill holes inthe carpet runner and put a bunch of carriage bolts through..
Any Ideas , I mean this mat is like a rag, balls up, and will never stay in place I keep pushing the plugs back in place and it stays untill you move around and POP, and will wrap around a sneaker, thus why I almost took a header!

I would not glue it down, it will trap the moisture and rust for sure. I would just find some better grommets to hold it and maybe as you suggested.. more mounting holes. All else fails use bed liner!

Find out who does the bed liners for the local car dealers. They usually do other work. Best to take the piece in so they can more easily do it. You’ll be happy. I tried the spray can liners and they just didn’t last as well.

Spray can stuff is junk.
Sprayed bed liner places are expensive, and it is a hassle to remove your parts and pieces to take them there.

Buy a quart can of (J B Weld) Herculiner on Amazon for $29, or $29.99 at Lowes (-10% mil disc. =$26.99)
Apply with a roller or brush!
Makes a nice looking and very durable coating.
I have had it on a tractor floor/deck for 5 years, and it still looks great!
Moisture/water cannot get underneath.

Unless my memory fails me, @mcfarmall had a shop bedliner the floor pan on his open station and it looked pretty sweet. That was a while back so maybe by now he can weigh in on how well it’s holding up after some use.

Of course I could be remembering that totally wrong…

This would have been my suggestion but I'm thinking he probably doesn't want the trouble of taking it apart. Though I'm not sure how much work it would be on the B series.

Real good reviews on Herculiner on Amazon and good tips on how to apply it. I definitely wouldn't glue anything on it. Good luck my friend.

I used Raptor on the box and grill guard of my RTV, it has been very durable and looks good. BUT, prep is 80% of the job, it will only be as good as the prep work.

Velcro strips with VHB (Very High Bond) tape on both sides will hold it down. You can get up 4" wide in McMaster-Carr.

I also used Herculiner. It's been about 19 months since I put it on. I have one small area that is starting to peel - got whacked with some branches in the woods. Will just touch it up with the leftover material I have.

It is holding up very well. Only one of the punched circles is missing some of the Rhino Lining and it's in the area on the left side of the platform where my feet grind around as I turn to sit down.

LOL,, well only one, from the GWN came down for a visit, then left and and flew in to Toronto and then to Winnipeg for some more train the trainer stuff, so she can instruct in the Northern part of Ont. And flew back in to T bay and before she could go back to the hospital to work she got the nose swab,,, and yep you guessed it,,, so she has 10 days off work, I went and got tested no problems. Other wise I saw the sun come up this morning so it was a good day :)
