Anybody have a source for small & light debris/brush forks?
My bucket is only 38 1/2" inside dimension, so all I have found are too wide & heavy. Closest I've come is this one:
All I have seen are also very heavy duty- no sense buying forks that are rated at 2500lbs when the FEL only lifts 400lbs.
Any help would be appreciated.

One suggestion is to buy low cost bolt on forks and then just bolt or weld a strip of 3/8" x 4" steel plate across the base of them to keep them spaced and strong. Take a look at these:

You can buy 4 forks for under $200 delivered, you can cut them down if you think they are too long. you will quickly get a set that fits your bucket and weight will be under 120lbs.

Another good suggestion. I wonder if they'd sell me three?

Yeesh, that 1st one is 500+ Canucks !
options to save money ...
Stop in at a local 'fab/weld' shop and get them to make one for you.
If school was in, get the 'machine shop' class to make it. teacher hear loves 'requests', shows the kids REAL WORLD uses for their talents.
Got a local guy making trailers ? He can make them....
Find a board, retired welder like me....2 hrs later you'd be using it !

Bill, here are pictures of a rake I made about 25 years ago. It was all misc. metal I had laying around. The tines were the bars from a weight set. I had a 2" ball on the top of the bucket on my B8200 and use it to move trailers. I simply welded the load binder to the backside of the rake and had enough chain to go behind the bucket and put a loop over the ball, then tighten the binder. The hooks on the side just slide on the lip of the bucket. Outside tubing is 1 1/2" square.

Simple, not expensive, easy to do and works excellent.

Thanks for posting pics of your setup. I'm beginning to think I might have to build my own, but I need another project like I need another hole in my head.

I sometimes wonder how people stay in business.
I contacted this company,
https://gwgroundworks.com/debris-manure-rake
looked at the website, and found a fork that looks like it might work. Site says the fork is 48" wide, but lists no dimensions for the clamp width or the weight. It also states they can make custom sizes.
I sent them this inquiry:
Hello,
I am interested in your Fast Fork clamp on Debris Manure Fork Rake.
Can you give me some dimensions? I'm primarily concerned wether or not it will fit on a 40" wide tractor bucket with an inside dimension of 38 1/2", and also the weight.
Thank You,
William

I received this response:
The standard width is 48 in. But I can make them smaller w/o a problem, thanks again Greg.
WTF?
Didn't answer my questions, or give me any info I didn't already have from the website.
Sigh.
I guess I will try again, being that this is the closest I've come to what I need, but I am not thrilled by my experience so far.

Bill, you probably have to ask one question at a time, and list them numerically to emphasize there are several questions.

An example:

1. Need price on a Debris Manure Fork Rake with inside dimension of 38 1/2"

2. Weight of the above rake.

3. Estimated delivery date and shipping cost.

I think we're there already.
Went to oreally? auto parts the other day and asked for ATO/ATC fuses in 40amp.
"We don't have those."
" Are you sure, maybe ask someone else?"
"No, we don't have those"
"WHAT don't you have, ATO/ATC fuses, or in 40amp ratings?"
"Niether"
"Oh really?" I reach past him and pick up a pack 40amp ATO/ATC fuses.
"Then what are these?"
"Guess we do have them"
Lord help us all.

OK, called groundworks this morning, got no answer, so I left a message. Got a call back several hours later and talked for quite a while with the owner. He sounded knowledgeable & had some good suggestions, so I ordered a custom sized fork. (down sized for my small tractor)
Being custom, he said it would take a week to a week & a half.
Fingers crossed.
Oh- the weight will be 65lbs.
