Forums like OTT and TBN are moderated, so, for the most part, the discourse is kept pretty civil. Seems the same for a couple of car model specific boards like Steve's Nova Site. Contrast that with FB, X, Insta, etc. that are pretty much anything goes. It takes pretty grievous behavior to get thrown off of them.
I joined FB a long time ago, for a week to view some content a friend posted. It took longer than that to get my account closed and deleted. Never went back.

If you think anything goes on FB and Instagram, you must post content the moderators like. They are heavily moderated with a lot of rules. . X does allow different opinions.
