Hi, This spring I bought a 2018 BX2680 with the 3rd set of hydraulics and switch on the joystick for the grapple. So just yesterday I bought an older BX2750B snowblower. It uses the older attachment with the driveshaft rather than the yolk. Anyway, everything lines up and works but Im sitting here looking at this mess of wires off this control panel that i need to mount somewhere with the two toggle switches on it for up and down and left and right swivel shute. So I'm wondering if anyone can someone can lead me to what wires it is I should be tying into. I wish it was a hydraulic swivel, then Id just plug 2 more hoses into the 4 bank thats got 2 spares sitting there, but its an electric swivel and Im not electrician. Thanks

First - - I know nothing about 3rd functions, so bear with me.

My BX2750D blower just uses the lift circuit for the loader - - White and Yellow.

Can't you use those for lift of the blower, and leave the 3rd function alone?

This is my lift connection.

I may not be understanding your question(s).

A couple pictures of what you're dealing with might help. I'm not sure either circuit should or needs to be tied into the 3rd function toggle for the blower, especially if lift is hydraulic and the chute rotation is electric (if I understand correctly).

Ive narrowed it down to just a couple wires i need to tie into accessory power. Theyve even got the tie in ends on them. Just not sure which of these 4 wires coming off the ignition I tie into for accessory power when the keys on. The ground wire will go to the battery, these other two with the fusible link will tie into which wire? Im sure there are tidier ways than those tie in ends that cut into the wire, but the snow's a fallin!

Those scotch lock wire connections are horrendous and will 100% cause you problems down the road. Spend a few min and get some heat shrink butt connectors and use them for your splice if you can't solder the connection. Looks like you just need the feed for the fuse to come from switched power, there may even be an open slot you can use in your fuse panel, in which case you can get a fuse tap and eliminate the one on the harness and have a cleaner install. I'm kind of surprised there is not another dedicated power feed from the battery and relays in the control box. Potentially 15A from a randomly taped wire can cause blown fuses or melted wires in a hurry.

Fuse taps with the appropriate style fuse are available on Amazon or any auto parts store. Get a test light or your meter out and see what fuses in your pannel only have power while the key is on.

Are these electrical connections supposed to operate the electric chute rotation, lift, or.....?

What do the hydraulic lines for the lift cylinder look like?

Can't you just plug your lift cylinder lines into the ports like mine?

Can you post pictures of your front hitch and blower?

Like I said, I don't know anything about 3rd Function stuff, but there might be another way to skin a cat..... ;)

He's trying to figure out the electric chute rotation and electric deflector actuator, not the third function.

OP- get yourself a fuse tap and connect your accessory wires that way.
