First winter with a front mount blower and as I've done before didn't adjust the skis up high enough. Grab a little too much gravel from the driveway and now the chute is blasted clean, as in no paint left. Not a big deal. When I put it away for the season I'll pressure wash and repaint any needed areas. My question is has anyone lined there chute with Teflon or similar product? Pics if you have them.

I have a similar problem with 1500’ of gravel driveway. The tolerances are too tight to put a liner in the chute. I’ll paint mine also, so it sits all shiny and clean.

Going to check out UHMW sheet that is 1/8" thick. Only plan to line the back edge of the chute. Doing my research now and make it a summer mod.

There is a thread here, or perhaps TractorByNet on this topic. Can’t link to it, but it was about successfully lining the chute with some type of plastic.

"Krazy Karpet" snow toys are a great source of cheap, thin, flexible, slippery snowblower chute lining material.

I just give mine a few shots of black or orange paint each year.

I will second this used the Krazy Karpet as a liner on my old blower it worked great... just had to make sure the lower edge was fastened well so the snow could not catch the edge and rip it away from the rivets I used to fasten it in place.
