I bought a used BX2750 snowblower, it didn't come with a manual. What type of oil do I use to lube the chain?

I find that motorcycle chain lube works great. Comes in a spray can, goes on foamy and dries to a grease. One can will last you years.

I use a can of open gear and chain spray lube on my Grasshopper snow blower, which I assume is a similar setup. Kind of messy, but works great.
I use dry graphite spray, keeps any sand or dirt from sticking to the chain and lasts a long time.
Good replies already but I will add that I use Justice Brothers chain lube which comes in an aerosol can to lube the roller chain on my Honda blower. If you are in a pinch plain old engine oil will do. The best time to lube is right after a good blowing. The chain will have warmed up and will draw the lube in as the chain cools.

The manual says chain oil for a good reason, and with that in mind I buy a winter formula oil that actually works it's way in because regular oil is like pouring molasses in January. Mine is made in Canada where they've figured out the best way of dealing with cold and snow and probably don't know as much about all the super good motorcycle chain lubes available now.
Just be sure what you use is the kind that soaks into the chain rollers and no matter what you use it's best to put on after you've used it and warmed it up good. I always do after use running it in then don't forget to put a piece of cardboard underneath as it will end up on the garage or shed floor making a mess you won't want to track all over the place or especially into the house.

I use lucas spray oil, when i hits the chain it is foamy to stick, then soaks into the rollers great.
