I have not but that would be a waste of money. You won't have the traction and why wouldn't you use the auger if you have it?

I don't know about the traction comment both of our blowers have good traction ones on trax and the other has tire chains. I think they would have plenty good traction.

I think it might be a good option for some snow falls where the snow is light powder. It seems like it might be faster pushing it in high gear. But you might be right it might be a waste of money either way I'd like to try one. I like the way it folds up out of the way when you just want to blow the snow like normal.

I watched video and it did work well on blower without chains.
I can see using it to push snowfalls into a windrow, then blowing that away. It'd be faster and cleaner than trying to toss 2-3" of light fluff.

I thought about doing something like that but decided to sell the snowblower and buy a tractor. No regrets.

The only thing we use the walk behind blowers for are the patios and narrow walkways we have to clear everything is opened up with truck or equipment plows.

Reminds me, I have 5 walk behinds here I can suck the gas out of, never used one , once
can fillup the big tractor with it !
