To be honest, though the weather is unseasonably mild and I really haven burned much wood, and the grass is green and growing. I mean this is the first time I have had the windows in the bedroom open on Christmas eve. Still it is winter and there should be snow, no snow really messed up deer season too.

It's gonna mess up my fruit trees also. Last year they budded in February and then we had a cold snap with snow storms. Got maybe two apples and no nectarines.

We've only had maybe four nights with a fire going. Other then that it's been too warm. So I've been just letting the heat pump take care of the chill. Thanksgiving we had to turn on the ac with all the baking that was going on. House was getting up to 80 degrees inside. Been too cold for the Bermuda grass and it's gone dormant. But the weeds are sure popping up left and right  If it continues, I won't have to cut firewood next year :D

Very nice...we have virtually no snow here in Minneapolis. I knew the snowblower would keep the snow away. Wishing for a big dumping so I can see it in action
It started last year, my tractor and snowblower were delivered December 4, 2014. We had more snow here in November 2014 then we have had since. I barely got to try it out last year only by letting two or three snows of 1 to 2 inches accumulate. This year we are having record high temperatures two and three times a week. I did get to use the tractor and fel today removing a tree from the driveway, a gift of 60+ mph winds last night. The other gift from the winds just in time for Christmas is a power outage that will probably last a week.

Heavy rain here today and sunny and warm tomorrow. It was late coming last year but when it did it was one of the worst I can remember.
