This is not meant as picking on you, just general observations on city life!

This is probably reason #20 why I don't live in a city!
If my neighbor thought it was acceptable to pile all his snow and road junk in my front yard, first we would have some words, I would promptly fill his yard will all the snow I could possibly roundup, then if he didn't get the hint, things would get real serious. ;)

And after a few missing neighbors... people might get the hint that it's rude! :p

Same difference as mowing your yard and blowing all the grass in the neighbor's yard!

It's snow that fell in your yard you keep it in your yard!

What do your neighbors think about you having a parking lot for a front yard, and pushing all the snow in front of their houses, just to keep yours snow free?

We've has a huge influx of southern folks move up here,
And was rather shocked (stupefied) when the sheriff's office had to send out notice to everyone " That just because the county or state snow plow pushed snow into your driveway does not mean it's legal, safe, or smart to push that snow back out into the roadway" DUHHH! but I guess quite a few were finding it acceptable to do just that.
Several got some pretty hefty tickets, fines, and costs because of it. Yea they went after them for damages to vehicles that hit there snow piles and wrecked their cars because of it. :p

There are reasons may cities have an ordinance prohibiting pushing snow across a city street. Besides the danger of the machine in the roadway, and snow possibly being left after the city cleaned, it could lead to a drive by shooting in this day in age!

When I push now in town I do just the opposite, I clean the area in front of my neighbor's car so they can get out easier...and put the snow on my property. For some reason they always seem friendly and helpful.

Very great point and same observation for me.

I'm out in the country, but have a shared driveway with 2 owners who refuse to help in snow removal or driveway upkeep(easement).

Another neighbor who is friendly and NOT on the driveway, but at the main road, gets snow removal assistance. We are neighborly to each other.

I, too, am very frustrated with people who leave a place and then try to turn where they move into where they came from. Hey dumda$$, you left for a reason, don't make your new home a sh!thole, too.

I gave up years ago on our road

I live the farthest back so I have to clear the road so the Wife can get out, there was just no sense in trying to think of the three driveways on the way to the front of the road

I just clear them too, it literally takes less than 10 minutes extra to do with the Kubota it saves them HOURS of shoveling
.
I figure I can do their driveways or I can help them get unstuck LOL

Been doing it since the 07/08 winter when I bought my first Kubota in the last 5 years I have actually received a few bottles of Bailey's as a Thank You

Wooooohoooo

Good on ya! I do that too. My neighbour is an incredibly young 80 but I plow him out when I plow myself out. He is always around helping me on projects and giving me advice on, well just about everything to do with tractors, ground, wood, electrical, gardening etc. It works for both of us.

After watching the video, I had the same thoughts as all of the above comments. Had that been me in that situation.....after I parked the tractor and looked out over the cleared driveway and the pile of debris across the street I'd be thinking, HOLY CRAP! I'd be pounding on those neighbor's doors to apologize! Then explain that in my excitement over my new bucket I completely lost my mind and didn't think about the mess I made in front of your yards. I'll clean it up or offer free snow removal until I've made amends for my ignorance. Your choice, and please accept my sincerest apologies!

Too many people have no respect for other's property. I'm a firm believer in the saying, "Your rights end where mine begin." And also just the opposite: "My rights end where your rights begin." Especially when dealing with real estate......inhabited or not.

nice job of snow removal, good way to piss the neighbors off. I held a conversation with my local sheriff about putting snow in the neighbors yard. (I had a renter next door put his snow on my cleared driveway.) It turns out in Minnesota there is no law against it. Damn good deal in my eyes, do it again and I will return it plus. I will use SWM garbage company slogan. Satisfaction guaranteed or double your garbage back was theirs. Sometimes I have trouble with multiplication and it comes out larger.

Good way to get a ticket around here. Illegal to push snow across the road plus makes for bad relations with the neighbors.

As a city police officer for 19 years, I would have to deal with whiners and the "he pushed the snow into my yard" stuff. Well on the video, he isn't pushing snow in anybody's yard, he's pushing it onto city property: all land between sidewalk and road is city property.

The snow pusher looks great, and now I want one.
