Very great point and same observation for me.This is not meant as picking on you, just general observations on city life!
This is probably reason #20 why I don't live in a city!
If my neighbor thought it was acceptable to pile all his snow and road junk in my front yard, first we would have some words, I would promptly fill his yard will all the snow I could possibly roundup, then if he didn't get the hint, things would get real serious.
And after a few missing neighbors... people might get the hint that it's rude!
Same difference as mowing your yard and blowing all the grass in the neighbor's yard!
It's snow that fell in your yard you keep it in your yard!
What do your neighbors think about you having a parking lot for a front yard, and pushing all the snow in front of their houses, just to keep yours snow free?
We've has a huge influx of southern folks move up here,
And was rather shocked (stupefied) when the sheriff's office had to send out notice to everyone " That just because the county or state snow plow pushed snow into your driveway does not mean it's legal, safe, or smart to push that snow back out into the roadway" DUHHH! but I guess quite a few were finding it acceptable to do just that.
Several got some pretty hefty tickets, fines, and costs because of it. Yea they went after them for damages to vehicles that hit there snow piles and wrecked their cars because of it.
Yeah that is reason #20 for me too. It follows reason # 19 which is I have to live in a place where I don't have to come inside to take a leak. This is probably reason #20 why I don't live in a city!
Oh yea...Yeah that is reason #20 for me too. It follows reason # 19 which is I have to live in a place where I don't have to come inside to take a leak.
