Yep, where the front end bolts onto the engine block.
I had already found a sheared bolt in the same hole, got it out, and now the block "ear" where the threads are, just popped out....
so... I guess now its totalled.
Anyone know what a L245DT with a M1200 FEL is worth for parts...?
OR... is there ANY hope to bring it back to life...?
I've been reading about cast iron welding, doesnt sound good.
Maybe "rig" something up, weld the front end to something that runs back to the FEL crossmember. I know it sounds dirty, but I dont think there is much hope.
Any ideas?

I've got a nice 4' Razor brush hog and a 4' disc, and a double bottom plow to go with it... maybe I can recover SOMETHING out of it.

Buy a new block, wengers has one for the L245DT in stock.
I've got an 8" C-channel for a front bumper, so i'm going to make a front subframe from that bumper to the center FEL support, weld a motor mount to the front assemlby that I can bolt to the subframe.
The engine runs, no fluids lost, nothing... so i cant see going through all that BS to put it back "like it was", with all that stress on the half inch or less of a cast iron block....

somewhere down the line, someone put a 2wd oil pan (3.5 lb) on the unit for some reason, not the 25lb cast pan with the extra support for the front end. Taking away half the mounting support for the front end.
The front assebly may be something fab'd up or something as there are no mounting holes where the bigger oil pan would bolt up, so it may be off a 2wheel drive machine as well....

Can you post some pics? Does your loader have the subframe? I have the same tractor and loader and it's hard to believe this could happen unless you were missing parts or lots of fasteners.
