smokes like crazy

I have a b-7001 Kubota that blows white smoke like crazy ..it smoked somewhat last year but nothing like it did yesterday when I started it since last year and the muffler actually caught on fire but I was able to blow it out..what does it mean ?? and does it mean its junk now..is it expensive to repair ..?? does anybody have an idea of how much it'll take to repair it..?? t5hanks in advance .. johnny

Possible stuck open injector flooding the system.??
Pull the dip stick & check the oil level..

Does the smoke smell like fuel, is it really white or grayish. Check your oil level as stated. And check your coolant, color, level, condition.

'white' smoke usually means water leak like head gasket or sleeve O-rings. Check the coolant level, is it down at all ?

coolant is less likely to catch fire than diesel though...

You probably have injectors dumping fuel. Need to remove them and replace.

I don't remember if I smelled diesel but the smoke was very white on till the muffler caught on fire..I'll be checking the water and oil level thanks

White smoke is almost always to much fuel

I gotta go with an injector dumping fuel on this because it lighting off in the exhaust.

Maybe two problems, your fuel/water issue and a rodent nest in the muffler?

Rodent nest on the 7100 in the muffler is a possibility on this unit. The muffler is mounted horizontally and has been called a mouse condo by a buddy who owns one and has bee down that path. White smoke... betting it is an injector.

Don't forget to check the air cleaner. Not enough air can lead to unburned fuel in the exhaust.
