New to the forum but need some suggestions please! I have an L245DT with an L1200 loader. Tractor works great and loader does MOSTLY. The problem Im having is with tipping the bucket down. My loader up and down move at a good pace and my tip up works normal but when I go to tip the bucket down its very slow, unless Ihave a heavy load in it. Sometimes it works ok and sometimes and doesnt move at all and I release the leaver and push it again and that sometimes will get it to tip. Any ideas why all of my hydraulics work at the same speed except tip down. Dont know if its in the controls or something more?? Ideas please! THANKS!

Check that your lever to lift your 3 point lift is not to far back. Mine had got bent and was allowing the lift to go to high. When this happened my bucket was EXTREMELY slow. Just push it down and see if your problem goes away.

Swap lift lines with curl lines, if the problem follows then it's the valve, if not, then it's the cylinders. With the problem only in one direction I'd say it's the valve.

It is very easy to lower your 3 point and try that. That is the easiest thing. If that doesn't work try something else, like swapping lines above. A bad valve would be rare. When mine was messing up, I had the dealer order a valve against their recommendation. They figured out it was the 3 point hitch and I had to pay restocking fees on the valve. They told me the valve going out is extremely rare.
