I have recently bought a l2002dt grey market. Been going great no drama's...till today. I took my 4th slasher off to clean it up and upon reattaching it the slasher will not stay up once the tractor is switched off. When the tractor is running there appears to be a hissing sound coming from below the seat but upon inspection I cannot find any leaking hydraulic oil and don't appear to be losing any oil at the gauge. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Welcome to OTT. :)

I don't know what a slasher is. Do you have pics? Can you tell more about the slasher for me to understand what it is?

I'm sure there is good help here for you.

Ross82, I'm guessing a "slasher" is the same as a bushhog over here. But I'm also guessing whatever implement you have on your Kubota will not stay up after you shut off the engine. If that is the case, your problem may be some "O" rings that have failed and need to be replaced. Let us hear from you and some pictures would be helpful. Good Luck!

A 4 ft bush hogg, a rough cut mower if you will is what the OP is talking about.

As to why your 3ph wont stay up after removing the mower i currently dont have a clue. sorry.

Just googled the bushhog and yeah same sort of deal it is a rotary rough cut mower...Slightly different design to what images the search brought up but same deal. Will try to post some pics this weekend if I get a chance. As far as the slasher dropping once the tractor is switched off problem seems to have fixed itself. I took it off and reattached it a few times after my original post and it now stays up fine...don't know why, attached it the same way every time but hey will not complain!! Still have the hissing sound coming from below the seat while the tractor runs though-still can't figure that one out?

If the hydraulic is not keeping up your 3ph after you stoped the engine and you hear a 'sound' from below the seat, maybe you have a problem at the valve of your hydraulics. Could be dirt at the oil-side or dirt/damage at the solenoid.
Just a guess...

I vote for the "O" rings first. I think there are 2 large ones and maybe 1 smaller one. been a while though.
