Skid plate for LX2620

While doing a little land clearing and bucket work today a tree branch came up from under the tractor and broke the housing on my fuel filter. I have had a few close calls in the past with branches coming up under tractor but got lucky avoiding any damage. Has anyone installed a skid plate and if so, where did you get it?

That filter location looks like it would be outside the area protected by a skid plate (under the tractor between the frames). You'd be better off fabricating a bracket to protect the filter housing itself. Other here have done similar fabs.
