That's good! Think he needs chains.

My dad had an "Indian" back in the 1930's that he road all year round. He carried a length of hemp or manila rope that he would wrap thru the spokes on the rear wheel to give him traction on snow and ice. Scary!

I could see broken legs in my near future if I tried that on a bike learned a while ago that me and gravity got issues when it comes to two wheels
