Simple Chicken Coop

Absolutely being able to walk in makes everything so much easier.
Sadly we had to euthanize one of our layers as she was sick and at 3 years old was an old girl for her breed.
We did get 6 more chicks last week, a couple magestic marens and 4 black sex links. So that means we are up to 9 total, but only 3 presently laying.

I'm picking up another dozen on friday. We have 36 now. I have the brooder ready, just need to clear some space in the shop. I'm going to build a brooder at the end of the run so I don't have to worry about the chicks getting everything dusty.
